Ileana Najarro covers race and opportunity for Education Week. She has previously written for the Tampa Bay Times, the Houston Chronicle, the Los Angeles Times, and more. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Stanford University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Departmental Honors.
